journey through the Old TestamentThe effects of one’s surroundings on their spiritual life are clearly demonstrated in Session 28. Saul continued to be full of pride and would not admit his mistakes. Samuel confronted Saul and told him that his kingdom would not continue. The Lord then sent Samuel to anoint David, who became Saul’s harp player and armor bearer.
