God wants a loving relationship with His people; therefore, worship must come first, and after that, the work. This is clearly seen in Session 18, with the children of Israel stopping to worship after crossing the Jordan River. The Lord then instructed Joshua to attack Jericho in a unique way, and the city was taken. One man secretly stole some things devoted to the Lord, and disaster ensued.
