When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to worship the golden image created by Nebuchadnezzar, officials reported them to the king. The penalty was death. But they were miraculously rescued, which brought glory to God, and they continued to serve the king alongside Daniel. King Nebuchadnezzar later became insane and lost his kingdom, but regained both when he humbled himself before God, giving honor and praise to the King of heaven. Verses: Matt.2:1-12; Dan. 3:1-30; 4:1-37 Teacher: John Schoenheit
