Session 41 begins with the account of Nebuchadnezzar carrying some of the children of Jerusalem’s nobility away to Babylon so he can train them to serve in his court. Among them is Daniel, who is determined not to eat food offered to idols. He persists in asking for a simple alternative for himself and his companions. Over time, they earn recognition as standouts in the king’s court.
