journey through the Old TestamentWhen King Belshazzar, son of Nebuchadnezzar, hosted a drunken party, a hand appeared writing a message on the wall. Daniel, by this time old and nearly forgotten, was summoned to interpret the writing. He did so, and was promoted to third rank in the kingdom, where he remained when the kingdom was conquered by Cyrus of Persia.
